The Reds drew 1-1 with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
Liverpool’s James Milner scores their first goal from the penalty spot
Liverpool midfielder James Milner has told Sky Sports that results will come after the draw with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Reds travelled to White Hart Lane on Saturday looking to bounce back from their disappointing 2-0 defeat to Burnley last weekend.
They got off to the perfect start too as a penalty from Milner handed his side the lead.
However, they were forced to share the points as a Danny Rose strike drew the hosts level and neither side could find a winner.

It was another disappointing afternoon for the Reds, but Milner has promised the results will come so long as they do not get impatient.
“[We’re] disappointed but that’s football ultimately, it’s all about results,” he told Sky Sports.
“As long as we keep performing and doing the right things, and don’t get impatient with it, I’m sure more results will come.”

It will be interesting to see if this start to the season is enough to convince Jurgen Klopp to do further work in the transfer window.
He has been busy this summer to say the least, but this indifferent start to the season may have made him believe that more signings are needed if they are to be successful this season.
The defence will be of particular concern, with that area of the team continuing to look shaky despite his efforts to improve it.
