Tim Sherwood has said on Sky Sports News (12:42pm, September 25, 2021) that a lot of teams would love to sign James Milner from Liverpool.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa manager is a big fan of Milner, who can play as a midfielder, full-back or winger.
The Sky Sports pundit believes that Milner always gives his best whenever and wherever he plays, and has said that if Liverpool make him available for sale, then he will not be short of offers.
Sherwood said about Milner on Sky Sports News (12:42pm, September 25, 2021): “If he was available now, there will be a lot of teams wanting to take him. He never short-changes any teams he plays for. The fans love him where he has played.”
James Milner’s future
Milner has been on the books of Liverpool since 2015 when he joined on a free transfer after leaving Manchester City.
The 35-year-old has helped Liverpool win the Premier League and the Champions League once each.
The Liverpool no.7 has made two appearances in the Premier League so far this season.

Milner is out of contract at Liverpool in the summer of 2022.
It is unlikely that the Reds will hand the midfielder a new deal.
Now, Milner may not be in a position to play week in and week out in the Premier League, but he would add depth to any squad.
Milne started his professional club football career at Leeds United, and perhaps he could return to Elland Road.
