The Liverpool left-back was in superb form last season.

James Milner congratulates team-mate Andrew Robertson of Liverpool after his cross is turned in by Steve Cook to make it 3-0 during the Premier League match between AFC Bournemouth and...

When speaking to the media, James Milner absolutely raved about the quality of Andy Robertson, labelling the left-back as ‘incredible’, as quoted by the club’s official website.

The Scotland international was quite simply sensational for the Reds last season, racking up an unbelievable 13 assists in 48 appearances in all competitions.

It is quite incredible to think that Liverpool paid Hull City just £8 million to sign the 25-year-old two years ago – what a bargain that is now beginning to look for the Merseyside outfit.

And Milner absolutely raved about Robertson, when speaking to reporters yesterday, highlighting the manner in which he presses the opposition as a particularly impressive feature of his game, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“I think how good Robbo has been since he’s been at the club has been incredible really. The fans love him. I think it started with that 90-yard press of Man City – he pressed everyone in their team I think, went to the ‘keeper and then did them all again!”

Robertson, who currently earns £60,000 per week at Liverpool, according to the Sun, is now widely considered to be one of the best attacking full-backs in world football.

And if Liverpool are to have any chance of winning the Premier League title next season, the Scot will once again have to enjoy a flawless campaign for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
