Leigh Griffiths is playing well for Celtic and Scotland at the moment.
Griffiths is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership and is also a key figure in the current Scotland team.
The 27-year-old striker has been in great form for the Glasgow giants this season and is also playing well for Scotland.
Queen of the South striker McFadden has praised Griffiths and has underlined how he has evolved.
The former Livingston and Dundee striker has been on the books of Celtic since January 2014 when he joined from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
“Sometimes he comes a bit too short for me but he comes off the front, gets on the half-turn, gets shots in from the edge of the box, gets crosses in, gets on the end of crosses — his game has evolved so much,” McFadden told The Scottish Sun about Griffiths.
“Two years ago, Leigh always needed to score, but now he just brings much more to the team,” added McFadden. “You know if he gets a chance or a free-kick he’ll take it. Everybody’s backing him.”
Griffiths is a brilliant footballer, and him playing well is only good for Celtic and Scotland.
The Glasgow giants are aiming to win the Scottish Premiership, the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup this season, just as they did during the 2016-17 campaign.
Brendan Rodgers’s side are also aiming to progress to the last-16 stage of the Champions League this season.
Celtic will return to action next weekend when they take on Dundee at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership.
