Celtic are eight points clear of second-placed Heart of Midlothian and have three games in hand.

The Hoops have yet to lose in the Scottish Premiership this season, and Motherwell forward McFadden, who is 33 years of age, has stated that he would not be surprised if Brendan Rodgers’s side went the entire season unbeaten.

“Celtic are the best team in the league and we need to make sure we are at our best to try and upset them,” McFadden told The Glasgow Evening Times.

“Well, you don’t know. They’re undefeated so far and, again, I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened.”
