James McClean’s Celtic-related Instagram post has prompted an investigation.
Sadly – as far as some Bhoys fans are concerned – it’s from the manager of West Bromwich Albion rather than their own.
The Baggies winger took to the social media site ahead of Celtic’s title-clinching victory at Hearts on Sunday, posting the caption: “Here we go 6 in a row” beside a picture of himself wearing a Hoops shirt.
The self-confessed Celtic supporter caused a stir north of the border, with several of a Bhoys persuasion encouraging him to make the move to Parkhead.
However, when asked if there could be anything more to McClean’s post – i.e. an imminent transfer – Pulis told the Birmingham Mail: “I haven’t got a clue.
“I’ll have a chat with him when he comes in.”

Last week, Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers told the Scottish Sun he is keen to strengthen in McClean’s position this summer, with the future of Manchester City loanee Patrick Roberts no clearer.
The Derry native can also operate at left-back, which could come in handy for the Hoops given that Kieran Tierney and Emilio Izaguirre are both said to be wanted elsewhere.
McClean, who still has two years to run on his contract at The Hawthorns, has appeared in all but four of West Brom’s Premier League fixtures this season – although only 10 of those have been from the start.
