Well-known Celtic fan James McClean has wished former West Bromwich Albion team-mate Oliver Burke good luck after sealing a move to Paradise.

Burke will spend the rest of the 2018-19 campaign at Celtic after struggling for games under West Brom boss Darren Moore this season.

It’s a brilliant move for the 21-year-old attacker who will not only get regular football, but he’ll work under the excellent Brendan Rodgers in Glasgow.

And McClean has told the young Baggie to ‘rip it up’ at Celtic.

McClean left West Brom to join Stoke for £5 million [Irish Times] last summer, but he might’ve joined Celtic if the offer was there.

The Republic of Ireland international is a huge fan of the Hoops and has publicly said on several occasions that he’d jump at the chance to move to Paradise.

In fact, the 29-year-old even gave an interview to Celtic TV last summer and reiterated his desire to one day join the Bhoys.

Burke could make his debut under Rodgers on January 19 when the Premiership champs visit Airdrieonians in the Scottish Cup.
