Everton’s James McCarthy praises Seamus Coleman’s help in rehabilitation process.

James McCarthy has told Everton’s official website that team-mate Seamus Coleman has been “different class” in helping him overcome the mental challenges of his horrific double leg break.
The Republic of Ireland midfielder suffered the horror injury during Everton’s visit of West Bromwich Albion in January and will spend much of the calendar year on the sidelines as a result.
West Brom’s Salomon Rondon, who was involved in the freak injury, broke down in tears on the pitch after seeing what had happened to the 27-year-old.
Coleman knows a thing or two about long-term setbacks after spending 11 months on the sidelines following a similar injury on international duty with the Irish last March.

And McCarthy, who earns £50,000 per week [Sportsmaza], has told Everton’s website that it has been of a huge consolation for him to receive advice from his Toffees and Republic of Ireland colleague.
The former Wigan Athletic man, who aims to be training outdoors by July, said: “Seamus has been different class – and all the lads have been brilliant.
“But Seamus went through the same injury. He is my best mate at the Club and has been there at the hospital, he came to see me straight after I suffered the injury.
“I looked up and Seamus was at the end of my bed, he has been different class. It is going really well but when I do get a bit of pain, I will ask Seamus and he will tell me what he felt, which is really good.”
