The Norwich City midfielder has been linked with moves to Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Norwich City’s James Maddison has admitted his desire to play in the Premier League, amid speculation linking him with moves to Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United [both Guardian] and Wolverhampton Wanderers [Express & Star].
However, the midfielder is seemingly in no rush to leave Norwich, the club for whom he continues to impress this season.
The 21-year-old, who spent the first half of last season on loan to Aberdeen before struggling to get into the Norwich team under previous boss Alex Neil, has become the Canaries’ key man since Daniel Farke’s appointment.

10 goals – including several stunners – and eight assists have arrived in the meantime, and it would be little surprise to learn that Tottenham, West Ham and Wolves are indeed keen on Maddison.
“My ambition is to play in the Premier League, like every player,” he told Sky Sports ahead of Sunday’s East Anglian derby against Ipswich Town. “But I’m at the stage of my career now where I’m happy to be playing games.
“It’s about showing the world what I can do at this level at the moment, and hopefully I can play at the top of the game whenever I get there.”
Though currently a Championship club, Wolves are well on course to join West Ham and Tottenham in next season’s Premier League.
With Norwich only eight points off the play-offs, however, it is not impossible that Maddison will then be a top flight player regardless.
