Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder James Maddison has raved about his Spurs teammate Son Heung-min.

James Maddison, who joined Tottenham Hotspur from Leicester City in the summer transfer window, has said that Son Heung-min is really good at being the captain of the team.

Son is now the Tottenham skipper.

The 31-year-old has been on the books of Spurs since 2015 and has been superb for the North London club over the years.

England international playmaker Maddison seems very impressed with the £192,000-a-week (SalarySport) South Korea international.

Maddison said about Son on Tottenham’s official website: “Sonny is a great lad.

“Such a welcoming, feel-good person that you could sit with for hours and chat and chat and chat, especially now that he has been given the captaincy, he has taken on the leadership role and I feel like he is really good at it.”

Son Heung-min a big player for Tottenham Hotspur

Son Heung-min is one of the best forwards in the Premier League and is a big player for Tottenham Hotspur.

The 31-year-old did not have the best of times last season, and the South Korea international did not start the new campaign strongly either.

However, Son scored a hat-trick against Burnley before the international break.

Spurs fans will hope that the forward now kicks off.

With Harry Kane having left for Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window and Richarlison struggling upfront, Son has to become the main source of goals for Tottenham in the coming weeks and months.

Son has made 272 appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham so far in his career.

The forward has scored 106 goals and given 52 assists in those games.
