Son Heung-min is one of the best players in the Premier League, and his Tottenham Hotspur teammate James Maddison has raved about him.

Tottenham Hotspur got the better of Fulham 2-0 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Monday night.

South Korea international forward Son Heung-min opened the scoring for Tottenham after 36 minutes.

England international attacking midfielder James Maddison doubled the advantage on 54 minutes.

After the London derby, Maddison joked about Arsenal and England international winger Bukayo Saka and his darts skills.

Maddison also spoke highly of Son and described him as “world class”.

Son has scored seven goals and given one assist in nine Premier League matches for Tottenham so far this season.

The 31-year-old forward has made 277 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

Son has scored 110 goals and given 53 assists in those games.

Maddison said about Son on BBC Sport: “We have a brilliant relationship.

“Sonny was a player I loved for years and years watching and now it is an absolute pleasure to play with him.

“He is a world class player, I don’t throw that around a lot.

“We like to link up, we work a lot on training and we are starting to understand each other’s runs.”

Son Heung-min is underrated

I believe that Tottenham Hotspur and South Korea international forward Son Heung-min is underrated.

I agree with James Maddison.

Son is world class.

The 31-year-old plays consistently well and is always there for the team.

Of course, there are matches where Son is unable to make an impact, but it happens with each and every player.

Son is no different.

Tottenham are a better and more potent team with Son in it.

Son had a brilliant relationship with Harry Kane on the pitch at Tottenham, and it seems that the South Korean now has a similar partnership with Maddison.

Maddison has hit the ground running at Tottenham since his move from Leicester City in the summer transfer window.

Son seems to be enjoying playing with the England international.Tottenham are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment.
