Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest want to sign James Garner from Manchester United, according to The Sun.
What’s the story?
It has been reported by The Sun that Championship duo the Blades and Forest want to sign Garner from the Red Devils.
Both the Blades and the Reds want to secure the services of the 20-year-old on a loan deal.
Forest were already keen on taking the midfielder back on loan to the City Ground, and now the Yorkshire club have joined the race for Garner.
The England Under-20 international spent the second half of last season on loan at Forest from the Red Devils.

Sheffield United or Nottingham Forest?
Garner is a talented and promising young midfielder who is rated highly.
Former United and Scotland international midfielder Darren Fletcher was quoted as saying in The Daily Mail in September 2019 that the youngster is “top class”.
Both the Blades and Forest would be good options for Garner.

The youngster played under Chris Hughton at Forest, and going back to the City Ground would help him with continuity.
The 20-year-old scored four goals in 20 Championship appearances for the Reds.
However, the Blades will be aiming to clinch back promotion to the Premier League after getting relegated at the end of last season, and that could be very appealing to Garner.
