Celtic have been very poor away from home this season.
Celtic ace James Forrest spoke to reporters yesterday, and admitted that he and his teammates must address their poor away from, if they are to challenge for the league title this season, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
The Hoops currently sit in third spot in the Scottish Premiership table, one point adrift of league leaders Rangers, although they do have a game in hand over Steven Gerrard’s side.
Brendan Rodgers will be extremely worried with his side’s poor away form, however.
Celtic have won three, drawn three and lost three of their nine league games away from home this term, and that undoubtedly needs to change.
Forrest spoke to reporters, and admitted that his side’s performances on their travels is something that needs looking at, as quoted by the Daily Mail:
“When we go away from home, we maybe need to look at it. There’s a couple of big away games coming up soon, so we need to make sure we’re all strong and come together to try and rectify it.”
Celtic face Motherwell at home tonight, so they shouldn’t have too much trouble there, but there real test will be the away games they face against Aberdeen on Boxing Day and Rangers three days later.
The Hoops are still strong favourites to win the league title, and these next four games really could define their season.
