Hearts and Celtic square off today in the semi-final of the Betfred Cup.

Celtic ace James Forrest spoke exclusively to the Scottish Herald ahead of his side’s Betfred Cup clash with Hearts at Murrayfield today, and warned his teammates of the threat that Steven Naismith will pose.
Hearts have begun this season in fine fashion, and currently sit five points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, having taken 25 points from their opening 10 league outings.
Celtic, meanwhile, have made an inauspicious start to their 2018/19 campaign, and currently sit six points behind Hearts, although they do have a game in hand over the Edinburgh outfit.
Today’s clash will represent a fantastic opportunity for both teams to gain a real psychological advantage over the other.
The Hoops head into the game as favourites, but Forrest warned his teammates of the threat that will undoubtedly be posed by Hearts forward Steven Naismith, as quoted by the Scottish Herald:

“When I first went in with Scotland, there were a lot of big characters there. As a young boy, that helped. I can see how his (Naismith’s) presence has helped Hearts as well. He is always working hard and he is always wanting to win. Everyone shows it in different ways and that is the type of player he is. He has got success from that and he is definitely going to be one to watch. He will be a danger player for them.”
The game kicks off at 13:30, and can be seen exclusively live on BT Sport 1.
