Celtic winger James Forrest is arguably enjoying the best season his career under Brendan Rodgers’ stewardship.

Forrest broke through into Celtic’s first-team in 2010, and he has seen many comings and goings at Parkhead.
The wide man says that Scott Brown is the only player to remain at Celtic from the he first broke though.
And Forrest finds the sheer volume of players to have departed the Glasgow club very scary.

He said: “I’ve been in the first team for seven years and only Broony (Scott Brown) is still here from when I made my debut.
“The number of players who have come and gone is scary, but it’s gone quite quickly. There have been ups and downs but it’s been really enjoyable.”
Forrest, himself, could have been under threat of leaving Celtic over the years.

Forrest has been accused of a lack of consistency before, but the winger is starting to fulfil his promise now.
The Scotland international has been one of Celtic’s main attacking influences this term, with Brendan Rodgers getting the very best out of the wide man.
Forrest scored twice for Celtic yesterday, as they cruised to success over Motherwell.
Celtic are now unbeaten in 67 domestic matches, with Rodgers’ side going from strength to strength.
