Celtic winger James Forrest has been in red-hot form for Brendan Rodgers’ side in recent times.
Forrest was suspended for Celtic’s trip to Germany when they took on Red Bull Leipzig, and his absence was felt.
Brendan Rodgers’ side fell to a 2-0 defeat against Leipzig in their last European match.
And Forrest admitted that it was strange having to watch Celtic on the television rather than be involved.
“I am not really used to being suspended,” Forrest said. “I got a red card in my second season under Lenny and maybe sat out one game. So it was strange and hopefully I don’t experience it again.”
Forrest should come back into Celtic’s team on Thursday evening, when Rodgers’ side host Leipzig.
Forrest has scored seven goals in his last five games, so heads into the contest in red hot form.
The Bhoys need to pick up their form in Europe, otherwise they could face elimination in the group stage.
Celtic are currently in third place in their group, having picked up just one victory from their first three matches.
