James Corden has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to West Ham United’s defeat to Southampton at the weekend.
The Hammers suffered a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Southampton at the London Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
West Ham are now third from bottom in the league table with three points from six matches.
Corden, who is a well-known English actor and comedian, is a West Ham, and he has made a worrying claim about the London outfit on Twitter.
The 38-year-old has stated that the Hammers’ campaign so far has vibes of the time under Glenn Roeder.
Roeder was appointed the West Ham manager in the summer of 2001.
The Hammers finished seventh in the Premier League during the 2001-02 campaign, but at the end of the 2002-03 season they got relegated.
In April 2003, Roeder was diagnosed with brain tumour, with Trevor Brooking taking charge of the team for the final weeks of the campaign
Roeder returned as the West Ham boss in July 2003, but he parted company in August of the same year.
