The Hammers have already signed eight new players this summer.

West Ham United defender James Collins has told Sky Sports that the squad would welcome more signings before the end of the transfer window.
The Hammers have been busy so far this summer, adding eight new players to their squad so far.
However, they lost one of those men to a long-term injury last week when Andrew Ayew picked up an injury in the defeat to Chelsea.
That injury, coupled with injuries to Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho, leaves manager Slaven Bilic short of options up front.

It has been suggested they could add more before the end of the summer and Collins says that the squad would welcome more arrivals.
“It’s down to the gaffer, I’m sure he’s probably thinking about it [signing players], the chairmen as well,” he told Sky Sports.
“We’ve made some great signings this summer already but we need numbers. If we can bring quality in that’s going to add to our squad then everyone will welcome it.”

It remains to be seen whether West Ham do make any more signings after the injury to Andre Ayew.
There is no denying that they are short of options up front, with Carroll’s latest injury further strengthening the belief he cannot be relied upon long term.
After spending quite heavily already though, it will be interesting to see if there is anything left for Bilic to spend to try and resolve their striker problems.
