The Hammers moved into the London Stadium at the beginning of this season.
Sunderland defender James Collins has told the club’s official website that the London Stadium can push the club into the Champions League in future.
The Hammers moved into their new home at the beginning of this season, departing Upton Park after 112 years.
It has not been a happy start to life in the former Olympic Stadium as they have managed just two wins from their first five games at the stadium.

It has also been beset by problems off the field as concerns have been raised about safety following clashes between fans.
At this moment in time, the opinion is largely negative on the stadium but Collins is looking at one major positive.
“It is a great stadium to play in and this is a club that is moving forward,” he told the club’s official website.
“The stadium and facilities that we now have are capable of seeing us push for Champions League and European football. It is an exciting time.”

Before dreaming of the Champions League, West Ham must first focus on turning around their current poor start to the season.
They are currently 17th in the table with ten points from their first ten games, just three points outside of the relegation zone.
They are, however, only three points behind Southampton in ninth and must focus on moving up the table and away from the relegation zone before dreaming of Europe.
