West Ham United are currently in the midst of a fine run of form.
Hammers ace James Collins spoke exclusively to the Mirror, and discussed just how tight the Premier League is, highlighting how his side can climb as high as 12th in the table with a win over Newcastle on Saturday.
West Ham have made huge strides since the appointment of David Moyes as manager last month, and now sit in 15th position in the table, two points clear of the drop zone, although there is still a lot of hard work ahead for the east London outfit.
The Hammers have taken seven points from their last three games against Chelsea, Arsenal and Stoke City, and there is genuine optimism emanating from the London Stadium for the first time in a very long time.

Collins himself has played a peripheral role in his side’s campaign, making just four Premier League appearances, with a succession of niggling injures hampering his chances of playing more regularly.
“We have got a couple of wins and a draw in the last few weeks and we have moved away from it with another really good chance to get three more points on Saturday. We could probably go to 12th on Saturday with a win, which seems mad from where we were. That is how tight it is. Anyone from probably from ninth can be dragged into it.”
As Collins suggested, the Hammers can climb as high as 12th with a win over the Magpies on Saturday, and if they manage to do that, Moyes’ men will be riding extremely high on confidence as they head into the hectic festive period.
