The Aston Villa midfielder has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea.

Aston Villa centre-back James Chester spoke to reporters yesterday, and admitted that it would be hard to deny his teammate Jack Grealish the opportunity to move to one of the Premier League’s big guns this summer, as quoted by Sky Sports.
According to a report from the Sun, Tottenham and Chelsea are locked in a battle to sign the £20 million-rated midfielder this summer.
The 22-year-old is widely considered to be one of the best young midfielders in the game, and it could very well be hard for Villa to resist moves from the likes of Tottenham and Chelsea for his signature.
The Villans are under new ownership now, however, and are not in such desperate need to sell as they were a few weeks ago.
If Steve Bruce’s side do manage to keep hold of Grealish, they will fancy their chances of gaining promotion this season.
Chester, who joined Villa from West Brom two year ago, raved about the quality of the 22-year-old when speaking to reporters, labelling him as the most talented player at Villa Park, as quoted by Sky Sports:

“I think Jack is the most talented player at the club and deserves to be playing at the very top of the game. People forget he is still very young, but we know Villa will be a real threat to anyone in the division if he stays. It would be sad to see him go and I don’t know if he will now that the ownership of the club has changed. But I don’t think anyone should hold it against him if he ends up going to a top Premier League club.”
The transfer window slams shut on August 9th for Premier League clubs, so Villa will surely be bracing themselves in anticipation for multiple bids for their prized asset over the next seven days.
