Aston Villa are in the Championship, while Fulham are in the Premier League.

Fulham did not start the 2017-18 campaign strongly, but the London club rallied after Christmas and ended up winning promotion to the Premier League for the 2018-19 campaign.
The Cottagers, though, are struggling in the Premier League at the moment and are currently second from bottom in the league table.
Villa, who reached the Championship playoff final last season, did not do well in the opening weeks and months of the 2018-19 campaign when Steve Bruce.
Even under new manager Dean Smith, the Villans are inconsistent, but 29-year-old Wales international centre-back believes that Villa can do what Fulham did last season.
Chester told The Express & Star: “We all saw what happened last year with Fulham, who were nowhere near it around Christmas and then put a run together.
“There always seems to be a team that does that. Luckily for us there are still an awful lot of games to play. There are still two-thirds of the season to to go.”

Pushing for promotion
Villa do have a good team, and Smith’s impact is already there for everyone to see.
If the likes of Jack Grealish and Yannick Bolasie can consistently play well and the Villans tighten at the back, then Villa can certainly launch a strong challenge for the automatic promotion places.
