Arsenal striker Mika Biereth has received some love from Jamal Musiala after his latest display for Motherwell.

Jamal Musiala has shown his appreciation for Arsenal youngster Mika Biereth as he shines out on loan.

First-team football can be difficult for young players at Arsenal; after all, not everybody can be Bukayo Saka.

The likes of Brooke Norton-Cuffy and Charlie Patino are out on loan in the Championship whilst Catalin Cirjan is with Rapid Bucharest.

Then there is striker Biereth, who has been sent to Scotland with Motherwell after spending last season with RKC Waalwijk.

Biereth has been limited to just two league appearances this season, recently missing six games with a knee injury.

The Dane bagged a goal and an assist on his debut in August and made his return against Ross County this past weekend.

Remarkably, Biereth repeated the feat; he again recorded a goal and an assist, meaning he is up to four goal contributions in just 50 minutes of action off the bench.

Biereth has taken to Instagram to celebrate, stating ‘nice to be back’ having made an enormous impact.

Arsenal talents Khayon Edwards, Zane Monlouis, Tyreece John-Jules, Charles Sagoe Jr and the aforementioned Norton-Cuffy all sent their messages of support.

There was even a reply from Bayern Munich superstar Jamal Musiala, who responded with two love hearts as he showed his support for the Arsenal talent.

Musiala is on Arsenal’s transfer wish list according to 90Min, so him seemingly keeping tabs on Biereth will certainly excite supporters.

Who is Arsenal talent Biereth?

Biereth was on the books at Fulham before making a 2021 move to Arsenal.

The 20-year-old has hit 12 goals and five assists in an Arsenal shirt but struggled in the Netherlands with RKC Waalwijk last season.

Now making a big impact for Motherwell, Biereth will be hoping to do enough to either prove himself to Mikel Arteta or earn himself interest from elsewhere.

Arsenal’s official website describes Biereth as ‘a prolific forward with high technical ability’, and Motherwell will hope to see him in the goals on a regular basis this season.
