Newcastle United drew with Watford at St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon.

Newcastle United defender Jamaal Lascelles has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s draw with Watford on Saturday afternoon.
Steve Bruce’s side played out a 1-1 draw with Watford at St. James’ Park in the Premier League.
Will Hughes put the Hornets in the lead after just two minutes, and Fabian Schar restored parity for the home team in the 41st minute.
Newcastle defender Lascelles, 25, has sent a message to the fans on Twitter following the match.
Disappointing start
Newcastle have made a disappointing start to the season, as they find themselves just one point above the Premier League relegation zone.
Of course, it is quite early in the season and Newcastle have had to play Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur already, but the signs do not look great for the Magpies.
Bruce’s team have also been knocked out of the EFL Cup, and there is a sense of concern among the fans at the moment.
However, things could change after the international break, especially if they somehow manage to win against Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League on September 14.
