The Newcastle United marksman saw his good work rewarded recently.
Dwight Gayle is loving life at Newcastle United following a £10 million move from Crystal Palace in the summer.
The 26-year-old striker has netted 11 league goals in 12 games as Newcastle sit top of the Championship and looking on course for a return to the Premier League.
Four of those goals came in October as the Magpies won every Championship game in a month which illustrated just how good Rafael Benitez’s side are.

Consequence of his form, Gayle has won the PFA Fans’ Championship Player of the Month in what was a landslide win, picking up over 9,000 votes of the 12,000 that were cast.
The man himself thanked said fans on Twitter this afternoon, and Newcastle team-mate Jamaal Lascelles acknowledged his red-hot form in the response.

Benitez’s side, who sit three points clear of second-placed Brighton and six ahead of Huddersfield in third, host Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon as they look to extend their fine form.
