Jalen Brunson is tired of the New York Knicks and the Eastern Conference being underrated by NBA analysts and fans.
Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks are ready to win their first trophy in 53 years, as they compete for the NBA Cup.
A real heavyweight bout in Las Vegas awaits them, as they must defeat Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs. But Jalen Brunson is tired of the Knicks and other East teams already being ruled out.

Jalen Brunson demands more respect for New York Knicks and Eastern Conference teams
Jalen Brunson spoke to the media ahead of the NBA Cup Final between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs in Las Vegas.
When discussing the disparity between the East and the West, he admitted that he is tired of seeing the Knicks and other teams in the East being disregarded and wants some more respect.
“When you’re playing one conference versus another, obviously, it can have a little bit of bias. But it’s great basketball on any given night.
On any given night, someone can beat anybody, regardless of who you’re playing. The West, obviously, has great teams…
“But the conversation about the East being wide open, I’m not a fan of that. There are too many great teams, great players, regardless of who is out, that are still competing.
“You don’t take anyone lightly, you don’t take anyone for granted. You go out there and do what you gotta do every single night. The East is a lot better than people think, and it’s a grind every night.”
New York Knicks can pull off a massive shock
It’s safe to say that the New York Knicks were handed a big boost heading into the NBA Cup Final when the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Knicks didn’t have the roster to defeat an experienced and tested Thunder side. However, they have a genuine chance against the San Antonio Spurs.
While the Spurs have a very strong roster, their lack of experience in high-stakes basketball games puts them at a disadvantage.
The Knicks, on the other hand, are coming off a run to the Eastern Conference Finals and have a lot of experience playing high-stakes basketball.
The Knicks could ramp up the pressure against the Spurs and put them in an uncomfortable position, and it could be enough to win them the NBA Cup.
