After leaving the game early, he was later seen wearing a boot and using crutches, which likely means he’ll miss some time.
There’s no official word yet on how serious it is, but missing Brunson for any stretch would be tough for New York, especially given what happened last year when injuries piled up.

Last season, the New York Knicks played 17 games without Jalen Brunson, who was out due to injury and personal reasons.
Their record during that stretch was 11-6, but a closer look reveals a clear pattern. Only one of those 11 wins came against a team that finished above .500 — the Milwaukee Bucks.
The rest of their wins came against the Brooklyn Nets, Utah Jazz, Atlanta Hawks, Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers, Portland Trail Blazers, Dallas Mavericks and Washington Wizards.
Most of their losses were also against winning teams — including the LA Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors.
In total, the Knicks went 1-4 against teams above .500 without Brunson. They were far more successful against losing teams, going 10-2 in those matchups.
The Knicks struggled to win games against strong opponents without Jalen Brunson. With several tough games ahead on the schedule this season, they may face similar challenges if he misses time again.

The New York Knicks will be hoping that Jalen Brunson’s injury isn’t too severe and that he can return to the team as soon as possible.
But if he is out for an extended period, head coach Mike Brown will be tested greatly. Without his best player, Brown will need the rest of the Knicks to step up.
If Brown can help the Knicks survive this stretch without Brunson while continuing to win games, he will have done what Tom Thibodeau struggled to.
