Jake Paul has admitted that he would one day love to play in the NFL for either one of the Cleveland Browns or Dallas Cowboys.
The internet sensation has been making waves in the boxing industry as a promoter and a fighter but hasn’t stepped into the ring since his crushing knockout defeat to Anthony Joshua.
That hasn’t stopped him from eyeing up his next venture and the 29-year-old has aspirations of one day playing football at the highest level.

Jake Paul has NFL dream
Speaking to the a16z Podcast Network, the celebrity boxer claimed he would want to play as a slot receiver and plans to prove his worth by playing for Stanford University at college football level.
He said: “I do have NFL aspirations after boxing. I want to play slot receiver, and so I think to get that experience, in college first would be good so I could walk onto the Stanford team.”
I was originally thinking I’ll just go straight to the Cleveland Browns or Dallas Cowboys, but they’re probably going to want to see me play first. So, it might be better if I start off in college and have a little bit of an advantage over the younger, not as big kids before going into the NFL.”
Jake Paul faces one setback in NFL dream
We’ve seen many stars say they would like to try their hand in the NFL, but Paul does face some drawbacks.
Slot receivers typically weigh in at 190-to-205-pound range in the NFL (and 175-to-190-pound range in college). In his fight against Joshua, he weighed 215 pounds.
He would also need to enroll at Stanford to join their football team, but they have certain requirements that he might struggle to meet.
