Jake Hastie is a player reportedly in demand, with Leeds United, Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers and Celtic among the clubs claimed to be interested in the Motherwell star.
According to a report in The Scottish Sun last month, Rangers, Celtic, Middlesbrough and Hull are interested in signing Hastie in the summer transfer window when his current contract with Motherwell runs out.
The Daily Record claimed in early February that Leeds, West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City have watched the youngster in action this season.
Earlier today, The Scottish Sun reported that Rangers are close to agreeing a pre-contract agreement with the 19-year-old winger.
Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson, though, has said that the the Scottish youngster is not close to signing a pre-contract agreement with Rangers.
Hastie himself has commented on his future, stating that his focus for now is on Motherwell’s next game.
According to WhoScored, the 19-year-old winger has made 14 starts and five substitute appearances in the Championship for Motherwell so far this season, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.

Hastie told STV when asked about a potential move to Rangers: “That’s all speculation. My main focus is the game [against Hamilton] tomorrow.”
Robinson told STV: “There’s a lot of speculation. That’s down to how well he’s been playing, as with all good players,” the manager said. But the word speculation is because people are speculating at the minute.”
The Motherwell boss added: “No decision has been made at this moment in time. Jake’s got a decision to make.”
