The Rangers winger was allowed to leave Ibrox by Steven Gerrard shortly after his arrival.

It’s possible Jake Hastie could return early to Rangers.
Hastie moved to Rangers at the start of the summer transfer window, but was loaned to Rotherham United by the end of it.
The winger has since scored in all three of his Millers appearances, while Rangers have since lost two of their other wide players, Jordan Jones and Ryan Kent, to injury.
And according to his Rotherham manager, Paul Warne, Hastie’s season-long loan agreement isn’t water-tight – although a recall could only take place throughout the month of January.
“Well with all season-long loans, they all have breaks in,” Warne explained to BBC Radio Sheffield on Friday when asked about the terms of Hastie’s deal. “And it’s the same with ours.
“You get led by the parent club well in advance of the window opening and then you get guarantees nearer to it.
“I won’t lose sleep about what’s happening with Jake, or any of the lads.
“If they perform really well and they move on, then they’ve done a good job for us so I can’t complain.”

As well as Hastie, Jones and Kent, the Rangers manager, Steven Gerrard, can also call upon Sheyi Ojo, Brandon Barker, Jamie Murphy, Greg Stewart and Eros Grezda on the flanks.
The 21-year-old told BBC Radio Sheffield earlier this week that he is delighted, but not surprised, by how well his Rotherham career has begun.
