Alli scored in Tottenham’s 3-1 win at Wembley, in a shockingly one sided game.
Alli posted on Instagram after Tottenham’s victory, with Sancho responding to praise the 22-year-old.
Tottenham midfielder Alli was key to his side’s success against Chelsea, following up his two-goal performance at Stamford Bridge earlier this year.
Borussia Dortmund ace Sancho had a strong weekend himself, helping his team to a 2-1 away victory over Mainz.
Tottenham were one of the sides keen on signing Sancho from Manchester City before he moved to the Bundesliga.
The Mirror‘s reported last month they remain keen, although his exploits in Germany will prevent Spurs being successful in a renewed effort, due to the big price tag he would command.
