Newcastle United winger Jacob Murphy has only been used sparingly by Rafael Benitez.

Murphy was brought to Newcastle form Norwich City last summer in a deal worth £12 million (Shields Gazette).
The winger has been used sparingly at St. James’ Park since joining, and has failed to make any real impact.
But Murphy insists that he is still learning and he still loves representing Newcastle United.
He said: “I still remind myself of how big the club is. I look down on the shirt and see the crest, and it makes me smile.”
Murphy appears unlikely to start for Newcastle in their upcoming match this weekend, when they take on newly promoted Cardiff City.

Kenedy and Matt Ritchie appear firmly established as Newcastle’s wing pairing right now, which gives Murphy a challenge to force his way in.
Rafael Benitez actually turned to Christian Atsu ahead of Murphy when Newcastle were losing to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, which suggests that he may well be fourth choice in the wing positions at the moment.
Newcastle were beaten 2-1 by Spurs in their opening game, and Benitez’s side will be wanting to bounce back as quickly as possible from that defeat.
