Newcastle United winger Jacob Murphy has lost his place in Rafael Benitez’s line-up recently.

Jacob Murphy may have a case for being Newcastle United’s most unlucky player.
Murphy endured a difficult start to life at Newcastle after arriving from Norwich City in a £12 million transfer last summer, as valued by Sky Sports.
However, he had just started to hit form, just as Rafael Benitez’s reshuffled his pack.

Murphy appeared to be getting to grips with the task at hand at St. James’ Park, but Benitez brought in Kenedy in the January transfer window – and Murphy has been sidelined ever since.
Murphy has not even made it off the substitutes’ bench in Newcastle’s last two matches, which will have disrupted his momentum.

The 22-year-old has provided an assist against Stoke City, and claimed a goal against Manchester City, before being dropped to the bench.
And Murphy may feel unfortunate that he is the man to be missing out, as he hadn’t done much wrong, to lose his place in Benitez’s starting line-up.
