Jacob Misiorowski’s fastball is not the only thing catching attention in his breakout Brewers season.
The card market has now given Milwaukee’s rookie ace a number almost as loud as his radar-gun readings.
For a pitcher, that is not a normal hobby behavior.
Jacob Misiorowski’s rookie card sale shows how hot his market is
Sports Card Investor reported that Misiorowski’s 2026 Bowman Anime Superfractor Rookie 1/1 sold for $45,600 on Fanatics Collect.
“Misiorowski’s 1/1 Anime just sold. The 2026 Bowman Anime Superfractor Jacob Misiorowski Rookie 1/1 just sold for $45.6K on Fanatics Collect. This now makes it his second most expensive sale, just behind his 2022 Bowman Chrome 1/1 Superfractor auto that sold for $52.8K last year.”
That is a serious number because pitcher cards usually face more market caution than elite hitters. Injury risk, shorter peaks, and lower daily visibility can cap values quickly. Misiorowski is forcing collectors to treat him differently.
The card itself helps. It is a one-of-one Superfractor from Bowman’s Anime insert line, a design Fanatics described as mixing a Japanese animation look with a 1955 Bowman-style television frame.

The price still sits below the wildest modern pitcher sales. Paul Skenes’ 2023 Bowman Chrome Draft Prospects Autograph Superfractor 1/1 sold for $123,220, while his MLB Debut Patch card reached $1.1 million. On the broader modern market, Shohei Ohtani’s 2025 Topps Gold Logoman sold for $3 million, and Aaron Judge’s 2013 Bowman Chrome Draft Superfractor autograph reportedly hit $5.2 million.
Misiorowski is not in that tier yet, but $45,600 for a young pitcher shows how quickly belief can price itself in.
Jacob Misiorowski’s stats explain the Brewers card frenzy
The sale makes more sense once the season is attached to it.
Misiorowski is 8-3 with a 1.45 ERA, 0.75 WHIP, and 138 strikeouts in 93 innings. He leads MLB in strikeouts, ERA, and WHIP, and his 13.35 strikeouts per nine innings underline why every start feels like an event.
His year has already included an 11-strikeout Opening Day performance that set a Brewers franchise record, plus a 15-strikeout one-hit shutout during a dominant June stretch. He also set an MLB tracking-era mark by throwing 57 pitches at 100 mph or harder in one game.
Milwaukee benefits most. The Brewers are 45-29 and still leading the NL Central, with Misiorowski turning a good rotation into something scarier for October.
Collectors are betting on the same idea that fans are watching. If this is the start of an ace, the card may not look absurd for long.
