Celtic midfielder Scott Allan is reportedly on the radar of Hibernian.

According to The Scotsman, Hibernian are interested in signing Allan from Celtic this month.
The 27-year-old midfielder was at Hibernian for the 2014-15 season before joining Celtic, and had a loan spell at Easter Road during the second half of last season.
The former West Bromwich Albion prospect is struggling for playing time at the Hoops at the moment, and former Celtic and Hibernian central midfielder McNamara Sr. has suggested that the midfielder should move to Hibs.
McNamara Sr told The Scottish Sun regarding Allan: “And as for Scott? Surely it’s about time he put down some roots. I know he is on good money at Celtic but sometimes it’s about going and playing games.
“The Hibs fans like him, he has played his best football as a Hibs player — and if they could get him back this month it would be a huge boost.”

Joining Hibernian
Leaving Celtic for Hibernian will be a step down for Allan, but the 27-year-old needs to play regularly at this stage of his career.
It will make sense from a footballing point of view for the midfielder to move to Hibernian when he will be an important player and will get to play regularly.
Hibernian are not have a great season, and they could do with someone of Allan’s calibre in their team.
