West Ham United have been linked with a move for free agent Jack Wilshere but he looks to be way down the pecking order.

According to Sky Sports West Ham are interested in signing former Arsenal star Wilshere with the Hammers one of a number of clubs keen on the 26-year-old midfielder.
Wilshere confirmed earlier last week he would be leaving Arsenal when his contract expires on July 1, following talks with new Gunners boss Unai Emery.
After meeting with the Spaniard, Wilshere says he was informed his game time would be “significantly reduced” if he chose to remain at the Emirates.

And West Ham have been heavily linked with bringing the boyhood Hammer home, much to the excitement of fans.

Under new manager Manuel Pellegrini, West Ham have already made three signings with the promise of several more quality additions to come.
But Wilshere appears to be way down the pecking order with West Ham wanting to sign one of Chelsea trio Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Danny Drinkwater or Ross Barkley.
The Sun has reported that England star Loftus-Cheek is wanted by West Ham and several other Premier League clubs while The Telegraph has previously claimed the Hammers were interested in Blues back-up midfielder Drinkwater.

Ross Barkley, who was heavily linked with a move to West Ham before joining Chelsea in January, has barely kicked a ball since and The Sun claims he is frustrated at Stamford Bridge.
Now West Ham fans’ website The West Ham Way claims the club has spoken to Chelsea with the hope of taking one of Loftus-Cheek, Drinkwater or Barkley on loan with an option to buy.
At least one of the trio is expected to be allowed to leave next season but that puts Wilshere way down the list, with West Ham also in for superb midfielder Jean-Michael Seri, as reported by Sky Sports.
