West Ham United and Newcastle United are both set to compete for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.

Jack Wilshere would be better off picking West Ham United over Newcastle United, if he has a choice between the pair.
Wilshere is believed to potentially be available, as he has struggled so badly to break into Arsenal’s team.
The 25-year-old has been given more chances recently, but still seems to have a battle on his hands to win his place back in Arsene Wenger’s line-up.

And if Wilshere is presented with a choice between Newcastle and West Ham, he should opt to move to the London Stadium.
If Wilshere was at Newcastle, he would still face a huge battle to win a place in their team.
Newcastle already have Mikel Merino and Jonjo Shelvey as creative influences in their midfield, and Rafael Benitez has shown an unwillingness to partner the pair together regularly.

Benitez likes to have a defensive minded-midfielder alongside both Shelvey and Merino, and Wilshere wouldn’t fill that void.
At West Ham, though, Wilshere has a clear path into Moyes’ first-team.
Moyes has already stated how West Ham’s options in midfield are short, and Wilshere would surely be a permanent starter, if he was to switch to the London Stadium.
