West Ham United presented Jack Wilshere to the media today.

West Ham United new boy Jack Wilshere has been quoted by TEAMtalk as saying that he would always ask his agent whether a move to the Hammers was possible.
The Hammers have enjoyed a productive summer transfer window so far, bringing in seven new signings, with the likes of Lukasz Fabianski, Ryan Fredericks, Issa Diop, Fabian Balbuena, Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko all arriving.
Yet the signing to receive the most fanfare is the deal which has seen Jack Wilshere head to the London Stadium, with West Ham pouncing to sign him on a free transfer after his Arsenal contract expired.
The 26-year-old has suffered well-documented injury problems in recent years, but after bagging one goal and three assists in 20 games last season, the Hammers have taken a gamble.
Wilshere featured on Saturday afternoon as West Ham drew 2-2 away at Championship side Preston North End in a pre-season friendly, and he will be hoping to stay fit in order to play a major role under Manuel Pellegrini.

Earlier today, West Ham presented Wilshere to the media for the first time, and he has been quoted by TEAMtalk as saying that it was an easy decision to join Pellegrini’s side having grown up supporting the club.
Wilshere noted that before leaving Arsenal for loan deals with Bolton Wanderers and Bournemouth, he would ask his agent whether West Ham were interested, summing up just why he feels a move to East London is ‘special’.
“Whenever I left Arsenal before on loan I would always ask my agent if West Ham were interested,” said Wilshere. “It’s a special time for me. Once I decided to leave Arsenal, when I spoke with Manuel it was an easy decision for me,” he added.
