West Ham United’s season came to an end on Sunday afternoon, beating Watford 4-1 away at Vicarage Road.

The Hammers have been in decent form to end their season, picking up consecutive wins over Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton before traveling to Watford.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side impressed again with a third straight victory, kickstarted by Mark Noble opening the scoring early on.

Manuel Lanzini then grabbed his first goal since the final day of last season, before Gerard Deulofeu capitalised on poor defending to bring Watford back into the game.

Jose Holebas was sent off shortly afterwards though, and West Ham took advantage as Marko Arnautovic scored before Noble added his second with a penalty.

West Ham secured a top half finish with the win as they leapfrogged Watford, ending their season in perfect style, with Jack Wilshere making another substitute appearance.

The midfielder’s first season at West Ham hasn’t gone to plan as injuries have been a problem yet again, and he has taken to Twitter to admit his season has been frustrating.

Wilshere promised that he’s hungrier than ever, and added that he thinks Noble is like a fine wine, raving about his experienced teammate.
