Bournemouth stars Jack Wilshere and Adam Smith have taken to Twitter after Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Cherries were coming off the back of a 6-1 home win over Hull City, and were hoping for another victory at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.

In a hard-fought, entertaining and evenly-contested affair, Bournemouth and Spurs played out a 0-0 draw, with Eddie Howe’s men possibly feeling they could have won the game having forced Hugo Lloris into a superb first half save.
The result leaves Tottenham fourth in the Premier League table and Bournemouth up into tenth, with both teams ticking along nicely so far this season.

After Saturday’s game, two Bournemouth players took to Twitter to send messages about the result, with Jack Wilshere one of them.
Wilshere is currently on loan at Bournemouth from Tottenham’s fierce rivals Arsenal, and he was charged for singing offensive chants about Spurs in 2015 (BBC Sport), meaning he wasn’t the most popular player for the travelling Tottenham fans, who unsurprisingly booed and jeered him.

Wilshere avoided any jibes at Spurs on Twitter, thanking the Bournemouth fans for their support whilst also praising a strong performance from his team-mates.
The other player to react on Twitter was right back Adam Smith, who was playing against his former club having come up through the ranks with Tottenham – and he was delighted with a point against ‘a good team’.
