Jack Wilshere has posted on his Instagram story ‘feeling good’ as he added the caption with him in Arsenal training.
The 29-year-old is a free-agent after leaving Championship side Bournemouth in the summer and Arsenal have given him a helping hand.
Once someone is one of your own, they always remain one of your own and this is proven in Arsenal’s case by how well they have treated the midfielder.
It seems as though Wilshere will train with the North London club up until January and then he will look to find a new club.
He has enough time during these next few months to get his sharpness back and really get his engine going.
The question has been asked whether the Gunners will offer him a new contract if things go well for him.
But that was seemingly brushed off by the player and Mikel Arteta, who played with him for a number of years.
At Wilshere’s age, many were expecting him to be hitting the heights and to be one of the top performers in English football.
But it hasn’t worked out as well as he would have wished and many would probably be even more surprised as to how far he has fallen.
That teenager that broke onto the scene seems to be a distant memory now, but one thing that isn’t going away, is the fighting spirit inside Wilshere.
