Jack Wilshere has said on talkSPORT (4:22pm, October 21, 2021) that he would love to join Newcastle United.
The former Arsenal midfielder has said that he would love to reunite with Eddie Howe at Newcastle.
However, the Englishman does not think that Howe will take him to Newcastle if he becomes the new manager of the Premier League club.
90min have claimed that Howe is among the managerial candidates for the Newcastle job.
Free agent Wilshere, who is training at Arsenal at the moment and is without a club, worked with Howe at Bournemouth.
Wilshere said on talkSPORT (4:22pm, October 21, 2021) about potentially joining Howe at Newcastle: “I would love to, but I am not sure if he will take me.”

Wilshere is 29 now and has not been at a club since the end of the 2020-21 season.
The Englishman is trying to keep himself in top shape by training with Arsenal.
We cannot find any credible report claiming that Newcastle are interested in signing Wilshere.
But, in our view, it would not be a bad idea for PIF to try to make a deal happen.
We know how good Wilshere is.
Yes, the Englishman has had fitness and injury problems in the past, but he is actively training now.
Signing Wilshere on a short-term deal in the January transfer window may not be a bad idea.
Having the 29-year-old in the squad for the second half of the season would help Newcastle’s quest to avoid the dreaded drop to the Championship.
Wilshere himself seems ready to move to Newcastle and will be very motivated to do well.
