Jack Wilshere has revealed to the Daily Mirror that he has held talks with Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe on how to get the best out of him throughout the duration of his loan spell at the club.
The 24-year-old made the switch to Dean Court from Arsenal on transfer deadline day, in what is a major coup for the club considering he was a target for a number of clubs throughout Europe.
Wilshere was named on the substitutes’ bench for the Cherries’ win over West Brom last weekend before coming off the bench to make his debut, and the England international has told the Daily Mirror that the manager plans to monitor his game-time this season.

“I spoke to the manager in the week and he has a plan for me and we both agreed the plan,” Wilshere said.
“Obviously I want to play, but I am feeling good at the minute.
“I am training well so I am just happy to come on an play my part.
“I’m taking each game as it comes and working hard at training and in the gym to give myself the best opportunity.”

Wilshere was also thankful for the opportunity Bournemouth have offered him, setting his goals high for the season ahead.
I’ve come here and I just want to get as many games as possible,” he continued.
“I’m a Bournemouth player now, in my head. I want to help Bournemouth get as high up the league as possible and also for myself I want to play 25 or 30 games this year.”
Wilshere is due to be in contention for a place in Bournemouth’s starting XI for the trip to Manchester City on Saturday, as he aims to prove he can steer clear of injuries.
