Jack Wilshere suffered badly with injury at West Ham United last term.

Wilshere joined West Ham from Arsenal in the summer of 2018, but had a miserable first season at the London Stadium.
Wilshere picked up an injury very early on in the campaign, which ruled him out for almost the entire season.
The England international was not able to show his quality, and spent most his team on the treatment table.
And Wilshere admits that he did not even feel part of West Hams team last term.
“It’s difficult when you come to a new club,” Wilshere said. “You want to have a period of time in the team.
“It was frustrating and I didn’t feel I was part of the team. It was important for me to have a good pre-season, stay around the boys and be training and improving every day.
“I’ve done that so I feel good, and I just want to play as many games as possible.”

Wilshere is certainly a part of West Ham’s team now, with Manuel Pellegrini showing great faith in him.
Wilshere started both of West Ham’s first two games this season in the Premier League, and was also given 82 minutes against Newport County in the Carabao Cup in midweek.
Wilshere scored his first goal for West Ham against the lower league opponents, and there are hopes around the London Stadium that strike could help the 27-year-old re-find his top form.
