Michail Antonio was snubbed for his England debut yet again with Crystal Palace’s Andros Townsend ahead of him and West Ham United fans aren’t happy.

The Hammers‘ top scorer got his second England call-up under new temporary boss Gareth Southgate but is yet to make his international bow.

The powerful winger has been one of the few bright sparks for Slaven Bilic in what has been a woeful start to the season.

With five goals for the East Londoners Antonio has elevated himself into the international reckoning.

But he was left on the bench when he was called up by Sam Allardyce for the disgraced former manager’s one and only game at Slovakia.

He was an unused substitute again when England cantered to a 2-0 win over minnows Malta on Saturday.

And he once again was left kicking his heels on the bench despite England toiling for any creativity in a fortunate 0-0 draw away to Slovenia.

Arsenal’s Theo Walcott was preferred to Antonio from the start.

And and even Eagles winger Townsend – a late call-up to the squad through injury – got the nod ahead of the former Nottingham Forest man as a second half substitute with the game calling out for his pace, power, unpredictability and aerial prowess.

Now Jack Sullivan, son of Hammers co-owner David, West Ham supporters and football fans in general have been reacting on Twitter to the Hammers hero being overlooked once again.
