Sunderland have been far more willing to loan out their prospects since Jack Ross took charge.

Ross has been keen to get Sunderland’s prospect first-team football this term, and has sanctioned a number of temporary moves for them.
Max Stryjek, Luke Molyneux and Elliot Embleton have all gone out on loan spells, and the trio have all got regularly game time.
And Ross insists that the switches away from Sunderland will serve the academy graduates well in their development.
He said: “I think there’s some of them who probably could have done with that (a loan spell) before now.
“I think Max, Elliot and Luke could have done with playing regularly before now, but now they’re getting it.”

Embleton, in particular, has impressed since going on loan from Sunderland.
The midfielder has been with Grimsby Town in League Two, where he has been earning rave reviews.
Stryjek and Molyneux, meanwhile, are playing non-league football, with Eastleigh and Gateshead respectively.
Sunderland are coping well enough without the trio, with Ross’ side currently in third place in the League One table.
