Sunderland will face Plymouth Argyle in League One this weekend.

McGeady came on as a substitute during Sunderland’s 3-0 win against Southend United at the Stadium of Light in League One last weekend.
The 32-year-old Republic of Ireland international winger played well for the Black Cats and scored in the 80th minute of the encounter.
Sunderland boss Ross has suggested that the former Celtic and Spartak Moscow winger could start for the Black Cats in their League One game on Sunday afternoon.
Ross told The Chronicle: “Very rarely I’ve had a week where my team selection has been straight-forward, sometimes because of injuries and lack of availability, but often because players have been doing so well coming off the bench or have got into the team on the back of someone else being unavailable.
“A good example of that is Jerome (Sinclair) and Josh. Josh has scored (nine) goals this season but Jerome’s performances when he’s got the opportunity have been very good.
“Aiden very much comes into my thoughts for Saturday because he’s shown what a good player he is.”

Exit hint
McGeady recently suggested to The Chronicle that he could leave Sunderland due to lack of playing time (click here to read more).
The 32-year-old is a very good player, and Sunderland manager Ross needs to make use of him regularly this season.
The winger joined Sunderland from Everton in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Chronicle to be worth £250,000 and when Simon Grayson was in charge of the Black Cats.
