Sunderland stopper Max Stryjek has been sent out on loan to Eastleigh.

There was suggestions that Stryjek could be Sunderland’s number one stopper following their relegation to League One.
However, Ross was quick to bring in Jon McLaughlin after taking charge of the Wearsiders, and he loaned Stryjek out to non-league.
The 22-year-old is currently with Eastleigh, where he is experiencing playing regularly for the first time.
And Ross believes that the temporary spell away from the Stadium of Light will benefit the Sunderland youngster in the future.
“You do want strength in depth in every position,” he said.

“I think it’s an overall area where we want to continue to strengthen.
“It’s the reason we sent Max to Eastleigh, I think a lot of him and I think he’s got every chance of going on to play for Sunderland.
“But he needed to play games.
“The give and take of that is that it makes him unavailable for me in the meantime.”
If Stryjek had stuck around at Sunderland it would have been unlikely that he would have made any impact on their first-team.
McLaughlin has been in excellent form since arriving, and firmly established himself as the North East side’s number one.
Stryjek has made nine appearances in the league for Eastleigh so far, helping them into ninth place in the Blue Square Premier table.
