Sunderland brought in Grant Leadbitter from Middlesbrough in the January transfer window.

Leadbitter signed for Sunderland in the final stages of the January transfer window from Middlesbrough.
The experienced midfielder came straight into Ross’ side for their match against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.
The Black Cats won that game 1-0, and Leadbitter’s influence at Sunderland has already been clear to Ross.
“I’ve been really impressed with him in training,” the Black Cats boss said. “He’s a great addition in terms of the way he is around the club – I’ve got a few of them in Lee (Cattermole), Glenn (Loovens) and George, who make a good contribution people don’t see.
“It might not always be seen on the park because sometimes you don’t play brilliantly, but we’re trying to create a culture at the club.

“If you come to the Academy (of Light), there’s a good culture in there now. There’s no guarantees because you still need good players, but it gives you a better chance of success. Adding Grant to that group just strengthens it.”
Sunderland actually found it hard going against AFC Wimbledon, but grabbed a winner through Aiden McGeady.
Leadbitter was one of a number of signings who Sunderland made during the January transfer window.
Kazaiah Sterling also made his Sunderland debut at the weekend, after joining on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
Sunderland are next in action on Saturday, when they take on Oxford United.
