Sunderland are expected to bring in new faces at the Stadium of Light in January.

Jack Ross has suggested that Sunderland are close to making a defensive addition in the Chronicle.
Sunderland are expected to be active in January, as Ross looks to put the finishing touches on his squad.
The Black Cats don’t want to make wholesale changes, but they would like to inject a small amount of quality into their team for the second half of the season.
And the Sunderland boss has hinted that a defender could be on his way to the Stadium of Light.
He said: “All being well, that will happen, there are just one or two things that need tidying up but my understanding is we should have a defensive player in by the early part of the month.
“It’s most likely to be a loan.”

Sunderland have won just one of their last three matches, which has highlighted their need for some additions.
Sunderland are right in the thick of the promotion battle, but currently sit in third place.
Ross’ side are now four points away from the automatic promotion spaces, with Luton Town pulling away from them in recent weeks.
Sunderland do have two games in hand over their nearest rivals though, with their next match coming against Blackpool tomorrow.
